ABC’s top rating kids’ TV show Kangaroo Beach, follows four young animal friends, Pounce, Gemma, Neville and Frizzy, who spend an action-packed summer at the spectacular Kangaroo Beach, training as junior cadets with their lifeguard heroes. When an emergency breaks out, the cadets step up to help keep the water safe.

There are Meet & Greets and Live Interactive Experiences with our two costume characters available to book for your next corporate or community event.
Meet & Greets are held within a beach-like setting with real lifesaving flagpoles and a freestanding banner. You’ll feel like you’re at the beach whilst having a photo with your favourite Kangaroo Beach characters!
The Kangaroo Beach Live Interactive Experience is approximately 20 minutes of action-packed fun on stage with Pounce and Neville and two hosts. The experience is designed to entertain large crowds of children and their parents in a fun way whilst providing important water safety messages. Join us in exploring the familiar world of water play - just try not to get wet!
Meet our Costume Characters!
A super keen jumping joey who CANNOT wait for the day he can become a fully-fledged lifeguard. Pounce’s keenness often gets the better of him as he will leap into the water without thinking to save his best friends and beachgoers. Pounce has a lot to learn about true leadership, but his unflinching bravery and swift speed and strength will make him a great help during an emergency.
A hairy-nosed wombat and expert sandcastle digger. Neville can often be found surfing the web rather than surfing the waves. Neville can suffer from low self-esteem but is a loyal friend with a big heart.
He is excellent in an emergency with his fast-pawed tunnelling skills and surprising bravery when a friend is in danger
